Notice: Beware of Scams Impersonating OpusClip

We’ve recently become aware of a phishing scam where bad actors are impersonating OpusClip to target creators, businesses, and members of the public. We take this very seriously and want to make sure our community knows how to identify and avoid these fraudulent communications.
What’s happening
Scammers are sending emails that appear to be from OpusClip, offering fake partnership deals, free “Pro Access,” beta testing invitations, or paid sponsorship opportunities. These emails attempt to trick recipients under the guise of a paid partnership, and sometimes even direct recipients to fraudulent websites intended to steal Google login credentials through fake “Sign in with Google” buttons.
We are actively working with domain registrars to take down the fraudulent websites and our legal team is pursuing action against the bad actors.
How to identify the scam
These fraudulent emails and websites share common characteristics:
🚩 Email red flags:
• Sent from non-OpusClip email domains (e.g., @zohomail.eu or other free email services)
• Use fake employee names like “Jennifer Edwards,” “Susan Gonzalez,” or “Opus | Cristian”
• Claim to be from the “Dev Team,” “Partnerships Team,” or similar
• Offer unsolicited free access or beta testing opportunities
🚩 Website red flags:
• URLs that are NOT on opus.pro (known fraudulent domains include adsopus.com and creator.opusflow.org, though others may exist)
• Fake login pages asking you to “Sign in with Google”
• May use OpusClip branding and logos to appear legitimate
How we actually contact creators and partners
When OpusClip reaches out about partnerships, sponsorships, or collaborations: - The email will come from @opus.pro - We will never ask you to sign in to a website outside of opus.pro - We will never pressure you to act immediately or create false urgency - Any links will direct you to opus.pro domains only
We occasionally work with third-party agencies to help connect with creators. These partners will never pose as OpusClip employees or direct you to websites outside of opus.pro.
Tips for verifying legitimate OpusClip communications
OpusClip only sends official communications from email addresses ending in @opus.pro. Our only official web domains are:
• opus.pro
• www.opus.pro
• clip.opus.pro
• beta-agent.opus.pro
• agent.opus.pro
While we occasionally work with third-party agencies to help us connect with creators, those partners will never pose directly as OpusClip employees or direct you to websites posing as OpusClip. When in doubt, simply forward an email to us at [email protected]o and we will confirm right away whether it is legit or not.
If you’re unsure whether an email is legitimate:
Forward it to [email protected] and we will confirm whether it came from us.
What to do if you’ve been targeted
If you received a suspicious email:
• Do not click any links in the email
• Do not reply to the sender
• Forward the email to [email protected] so we can investigate
• Delete the email
If you clicked a link or entered information:
