‍Well, my name is Jesus Baron. I got a video podcast project from last year. I started it as a hobby, and over time I saw high potential. So I started to take it a little more seriously. When did you start creating short videos?I started creating short videos last November, but it was really hard for me to find the highlight moments in the videos.

Why do you want to create short videos?

I started my podcast because I believe that every human being has a story to tell. And when I tell my story, I want to give people a variety of content. When there is something that people want to learn, they can either choose to watch a whole episode, or short videos.I also use my short videos as a way to direct traffic to my long form videos. For instance, I can post short videos of my past podcasts from 10 months ago. No one would watch a long form video from a long time ago, but with short videos it can happen.

How did you first get to know Opus clip?

‍I first saw a video on my Instagram, and I started to search for your product. At the beginning, it was only for English. So I had to wait a couple of months to finally get that in Spanish, because the Spanish language is the one that I use here for my podcast project.

‍That's good to know. Sounds like it's worth the wait. I want to know in the past, how long did it take you to create short videos?

‍It was really frustrating from the beginning, because I had to cut the original video completely and set the frame, and I had to watch it all over again to find some moments, and then decide which one was good and which one was not. It was really difficult, to be honest.

‍How long does Opus Clip save you to create short videos on average?

In the past, it took me one day of work to create short videos. But now I just put my video into Opus Clip, and wait for like 20-40 minutes. It's one day in the past versus one hour right now, and Opus Clip can work 24/7.

‍How often do you post short videos?

‍Every single day.I have 80 episodes right now. So what I'm trying to do is post one per day on TikTok and YouTube. On Facebook, I post 3 videos per day.

‍Before Opus, I was just turning my long videos into short videos without much editing. With Opus, it really puts your face in the middle, which allows me to truly connect with the community, and that's something that really works for me. I also really like emojis. My videos can be a bit serious, as I have a lot of politicians, entrepreneurs, professionals, sports players on the show. The emojis just make the videos more interesting.

What is the biggest value Opus Clip has brought to you?

‍First is the time saved. I just told you that before we needed to spend one day for editing, and now I can get it in less than an hour.

I also really like the customization part it, it's something that's very valuable to me and my community. I can choose different types of subtitles to make it really great, and I can put a color if I want to. All these are very useful.

Do you have any suggestions for creators who want to be successful?

‍People really usually get frustrated from the very beginning because they expect viewers, they expect reactions in everything they're posting. Don't do it. Instead, believe in the project and make it happen.

Also, you need to post good videos every day if you want viewers. This is very important.
